永田右京は関西の若手サックス奏者の中でも抜きんでた存在だ。確かなテクニックでメインストリームジャズを熱く表現するスタイルは気持ちがよい。その魅力そのままに、和音楽器がない構成ではさらに自由になる。プルースト初出演となるベーシスト井上歩の熱く的確な演奏、若手ドラマー村上晃生のクリエイティブな演奏との初コラボが楽しみな夜だ。

Ukyo Nagata stands out as one of the top young saxophonists in the Kansai jazz scene. His solid technique and passionate take on mainstream jazz make for an exhilarating experience. In this setting—without any chordal instruments—his expressive freedom shines even more. It’s an exciting night featuring his first collaboration with bassist Ayumu Inoue, making his debut at Proust with a fiery yet precise performance, and creative young drummer Kosei Murakami.
