ジャズでは、演奏中のメンバー間の相互作用（音楽的な会話）はとても大切で、バンド全体の盛り上がりに大きく影響する。ニック・マーシャルは永田右京との相互作用に可能性を感じ、共演の可能性を探ってきたがトロンボーンとテナーサックスは音域が同じということもあり、共演の機会は限られていた。そんな二人の相互作用にフォーカスしたライブがこの日ついに実現する。より自由に注意深く会話するためにコード楽器（ピアノやギター）を入れず、ベースとドラムには盟友ミュージシャン大塚恵と坪田英徳を起用した。

In jazz, the interaction between band members during a performance—a kind of musical conversation—is crucial and greatly influences the overall energy of the group. Nick Marshall has long seen potential in his interaction with Ukyo Nagata and has sought opportunities to perform together. However, since the trombone and tenor saxophone share a similar range, chances to collaborate have been limited. This live performance, finally coming to fruition, focuses on the interplay between the two. To allow for freer and more attentive musical conversation, chordal instruments such as piano and guitar have been left out, with trusted fellow musicians Megumi Otsuka on bass and Hidenori Tsubota on drums rounding out the ensemble.
