エンターテイメント性あふれる楽しいライブだ。この日のリーダーであるベーシスト光岡尚紀は見て、聞いて楽しいジャズを披露する達人。フィーチャーするのはオーストラリアで活動する小泉奈那で、硬派なトランペットと柔らかく包容力のあるボーカルの二刀流だ。スキャットの切れ味も抜群。ピアニストは小泉の最近リリースされた CD メンバーから Julian Sanchez、ドラマーは関西の若手の筆頭格の坪田英徳が参加する。

This will be a lively and entertaining live performance. The leader of the day, bassist Naoki Mitsuoka, is a master at delivering jazz that is both fun to watch and to listen to. Featured is Nana Koizumi, an artist active in Australia, who skillfully handles both the trumpet with a bold edge and vocals with a soft, embracing warmth. Her sharp, vibrant scat singing is another highlight. On piano is Julian Sanchez, a member of Koizumi’s recently released CD, and on drums is Hidenori Tsubota, one of the leading young talents in the Kansai jazz scene.
